Medical Receptionist
Job Summary
Currently we are looking for a Medical Receptionist/PA to join our Genea Canberra Clinic
Working as a Medical Receptionist/PA this role is responsible for administrative requirements including reception patient bookings administration office management and handling any support requirements as they arise.
Qualifications :
We are seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator for this role someone who is confident in working on a front desk reception while providing a range of administrative support tasks (a real multitasker).
To be successful in this role you will have excellent administration skills confidence with learning new systems the ability to work in a busy role and exceptional customer service skills (this is key to the service & care we provide our patients).
In addition you will have:
At least 3 years experience working in a similar role as a Doctors PA/Medical Secretary in a medical practice. Experience in Reproductive Medicine or Womens Health an advantage.
Ability to liaise effectively and empathetically with patients internal stakeholders and customers
Strong computer skills and Advanced working knowledge of Medical practice software
Intermediate level of use of Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word
Highly organised with strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritise appropriately
Familiarity with Medicare rules and processes and medical terminology
Competent with medical billing and invoicing processes including managing daily banking
Be self-motivated with the ability to work and complete tasks unsupervised
