Job Summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) Asia Pacific is seeking a commercially astute People Culture & Wellbeing Business Partner to join our team in a hybrid fixed term role (12 months ). Our home base is at our national support office in Rowville VIC your stakeholder portfolio will span key APAC support functions including Technology & Digital Finance Marketing Merchandise and Legal/Property.

This is a highly visible role partnering strategically with mid to senior leaders across our support office functions.

As a key strategic HR partner you will drive meaningful business outcomes through strong stakeholder relationships pragmatic advice and commercially aligned people solutions. This role offers the opportunity to apply both strategic insight and hands-on delivery in a fast-paced support environment connected to retail and trade operations.

Reporting to the General Manager PCW Support Services you will work collaboratively with leaders to build capability lift performance and strengthen engagement. This is a genuine business partnering opportunity within a dynamic and inclusive workplace.

This role will initially commence on a 12-month contract providing additional support while the current incumbent undertakes a project secondment.

About the role of PCW Business Partner:

  • Be a trusted advisor and coach to leaders contributing to business planning and performance outcomes.
  • Lead workforce planning talent and succession initiatives to build future-ready teams.
  • Provide strong employee and industrial relations support including complex investigations performance matters and Fair Work cases.
  • Strengthen team effectiveness engagement and accountability across your portfolio.
  • Support organisational change initiatives including restructures and integration activity.
  • Use people data and insights to inform decisions and drive improvement.
  • Partner with WHS colleagues to support a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Contribute to broader People initiatives across your portfolio.

About you:

  • Experienced People & Culture Business Partner with strong commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ER/IR capability confident managing complex employee relations matters and investigations.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Comfortable operating at pace influencing stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Data-informed pragmatic and solutions-focused.
  • Adaptable collaborative and resilient.
  • Be able to work independently and demonstrate sound judgement.
