Job Summary
A well-established independent co-educational school in York is seeking a talented and committed Teacher of Mathematics to join its high-performing department. The Role
This is a full teaching post across KS3KS5 including GCSE and A-Level Mathematics. The successful candidate will deliver lessons that combine clarity of explanation with depth of understanding ensuring students are challenged appropriately at every stage.
You will:
Teach Mathematics across KS3KS5 including A-Level
Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Support high-attaining pupils through stretch and challenge provision
Contribute to enrichment activities such as Maths Challenge or problem-solving clubs
Work collaboratively within a well-established Maths faculty
Small class sizes allow for personalised feedback and detailed support particularly at Sixth Form level.
The Mathematics Department
