The Role
This is a full teaching position across KS3KS5 including GCSE and A-Level Drama. The successful candidate will combine practical theatre expertise with academic rigour preparing students thoroughly for both performance and written examination components.
You will:
Teach Drama across KS3 GCSE and A-Level
Direct and produce school performances
Support students in both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject
Contribute to co-curricular theatre clubs and productions
Collaborate with English and Music departments where appropriate
Small class sizes allow for focused rehearsal time and detailed feedback on coursework and performance work.
The Performing Arts Department
The department operates within dedicated performance spaces including a theatre hall and rehearsal studios. Technical support is available for lighting and sound during major productions.
