Job Summary

The Role
You will teach English across KS3KS5 including GCSE and A-Level Literature and Language. Lessons are discussion-led intellectually challenging and designed to stretch able learners while providing structured support where needed.
You will:
Deliver a broad and ambitious curriculum spanning classical and contemporary texts
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations with a focus on exam craft and academic independence
Contribute to enrichment such as debating creative writing clubs or theatre visits
Work collaboratively on curriculum planning and assessment design
Small class sizes allow for meaningful dialogue and personalised feedback.
The Department
