Job Summary

A well-regarded independent co-educational school in Northampton is seeking an engaging and academically strong Teacher of Psychology to join its thriving Sixth Form team. The school has a strong tradition of academic excellence with high progression rates to Russell Group universities and competitive courses including Psychology Medicine and Social Sciences.

The Role

This is primarily a Sixth Form teaching post delivering A-Level Psychology to well-prepared and academically capable students. The role offers scope to contribute to curriculum enrichment and academic mentoring within the Sixth Form.

You will:

Deliver high-quality A-Level Psychology lessons
Teach research methods cognitive social and biological psychology topics
Support students with extended essays and university applications
Contribute to academic societies or psychology-related enrichment
Work collaboratively with the Social Sciences faculty

Class sizes are small enabling meaningful discussion debate and individual academic support.
