Sr. Learning & Development Specialist

The Senior Learning & Development Specialist will play a critical role in building practical high-impact skill development for people leaders and employees across Klaviyo. This role is a great opportunity for a hands-on learning professional who loves building facilitating and iteratingsomeone who can turn data feedback and organizational signals into learning that drives real behavior change.

This role sits on the Talent & Learning team and works closely with partners across People Analytics HRBPs and the AI Transformation team. The Senior L&D Specialist will have a direct impact on strengthening people leader capability career development and AI upskilling across the company while helping reinforce Klaviyos culture of continuous learning.

A successful Senior Learning & Development Specialist at Klaviyo is a builder facilitator and problem-solver who is energized by translating insights into action. You are comfortable owning work end-to-end and thrive in a small high-impact this role you will:

• Gather and synthesize data feedback and organizational signals to identify learning needs and skill gaps for people leaders and employees
• Partner with People Analytics and HRBPs to interpret trends and insights and translate them into clear learning priorities and skill focus areas
• Design build and facilitate experiential skill-based learning experiences that emphasize practice reflection and real-world application
• Own learning experiences end-to-end from discovery and design through delivery reinforcement and iteration
• Develop and deliver learning focused on people leader effectiveness career development skills and employee growth
• Support AI upskilling efforts across the company in partnership with the AI Transformation team enabling hands-on AI practice and fluency
• Apply AI tools and platforms to learning design personalization and reinforcementcontinuously experimenting with new approaches to improve effectiveness
• Measure the effectiveness and impact of learning experiences using both qualitative and quantitative data and use those insights to continuously improve outcomes
• Contribute to the development and execution of Klaviyos coaching strategy for leaders and employees
• Build strategies that embed learning into everyday work ensuring skill development is practical continuous and reinforced
• Transform workflows by putting AI at the center building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.

Who You Are

• You have 5 years of experience designing building and delivering learning and development programs ideally in a fast-paced or scaling environment
• You have experience translating data feedback and business needs into concrete skill-based learning solutions
• You are curious and analytical with the ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and apply insights to improve future experiences
• You are highly hands-on and enjoy owning work from concept through execution reinforcement and iteration
• You are a strong facilitator who is comfortable leading interactive experiential learning opportunitiesnot traditional lecture-style workshops
• You are energized by experimentation and continuous improvement and are comfortable navigating fast-changing ambiguous and uncharted environments
• You use AI as a critical part of your work and are excited by how AI is transforming learning and development staying at the edge of new tools technologies and approaches
• You are organized proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a small high-impact team environment
• Youre a strong collaborator working well with partners and stakeholders and bringing a team-first mindset to your work
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can influence through well-designed experiences rather than authority
• Youre excited to be a culture carrier modeling Klaviyos values and reinforcing them through how you design deliver and show up in your work
• Youve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects and youre excited to dive in and learn fast. Youre hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
