Responsibilities:
- Provides technical leadership in delivery of Cloud & Onprem software development capabilities including analytics and infrastructure.
- Provides guidance to project teams in Java/Spring development system and application design coding and design standards best practicesand system performance andavailability.
- Review the quality of designs and implementation of solutions implemented by thedevelopers.
- Mentor junior teammembers.
Skills and Qualification
- 7 years of software development experience and at least 2 of leading teams.
- Strong experience in JAVA and J2EE technologies with Cloud based environment.
- Expert knowledge in JPA Hibernate JDBC SQL Spring JUnit and JSON REST/JSON web services.
- Strong knowledge in Java Design Patterns.
- Experience in building Micro Services Architecture and event-driven applications using JMS.
- Experience in Docker/Kubernetes (building images optimizing layers runtime config).
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and branching strategies (Git-based).
- Experience developing applications with Agile team methodologies preferred.
- Strong Object-Oriented design skills and understanding of MVC.
- Sufficient experience with Git to organize a large software project with multiple developers to include branching tagging and merging.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Relocation is available for this position.
