About the Role
BDO Brisbane is currently looking for a dynamic Manager join our Corporate & International Tax team in this role you will work closely with our industry leaders developing your knowledge and skill set in complex compliance and consulting tax work.
Key responsibilities:
Undertaking tax due diligence assignments and transactional work
Researching and drafting complex tax letters of advice
Liaising with the ATO regarding client matters
Review of income tax returns and work papers
Review of tax effect accounting calculations
Mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff
Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity including overseeing deliverables work allocations deadlines and budgets
About You
Demonstrated Corporate Tax experience working in the tax practice of a Big 4/ mid-tier accounting firm
Completed a CA/CPA qualification or Master of Taxation
Hold a university degree in accounting and/or law (or related disciplines)
Strong client advisory and communication skills
Experienced level of tax compliance background with a passion about improving your advisory technical expertise and knowledge
Extensive consulting exposure to a range of clients ideally including cross-border structures financing arrangements and transactions
