Reporting to the Senior Director Labour Relations and Negotiations the incumbent plays a central role in support analysis and coordination. They contribute to the quality of labour relations operations support negotiation mandates and help optimize internal tools and processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Senior Director in labour relations files negotiations and various organizational projects.
- Develop maintain and optimize digital systems to centralize labour relations files collective agreements registers and historical data.
- Coordinate followups timelines and team activities: litigation investigations grievances arbitration files collective agreement renewal cycles and negotiation preparation.
- Maintain accurate data and statistics related to unionized employees and produce reports supporting the teams mandates.
- Collaborate in preparing files executing projects and contributing to continuous improvement of team practices.
- Respond to arbitration requests coordinate logistics with managers counsel and union representatives and ensure required followups.
- Participate in optimization projects including those involving artificial intelligence and design digital tools to improve managerial efficiency.
- Train internal stakeholders on digital tools automated registers and analytics platforms.
- Maintain an uptodate inventory of collective agreements labour relations contracts and negotiation cycles across the organization and the industry.
- Conduct research on industry trends salary structures regulations and legislative changes to support decisionmaking.
Qualifications :
College diploma (DEC) in administrative techniques or a related field.
Relevant experience in coordination data analysis or specialized administrative support; experience in a unionized environment is an asset but not mandatory.
Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word Excel Outlook Teams) and demonstrated comfort with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g. Copilot).
Excellent interpersonal skills collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several files simultaneously.
Ability to learn quickly adapt to new technologies and take initiative in followups.
Time management prioritization and coordination abilities.
Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
A good command of French is required for positions based in Québec. The incumbent will frequently communicate in English both orally and in writing with colleagues clients and other stakeholders in Québec and internationally.
