Role Purpose
This role is responsible for coordinating with BSO and Bag Room to handle misplaced/lost baggage claims and provide reports to carriers. Position requires heavy lifting pushing pulling bending stretching and frequent kneeling. Adheres to all standards procedures ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.
What you will be doing
- Coordinate misplaced and lost baggage claims with BSO/Bag Room and prepare required reports for carriers.
- Ensure accurate baggage tagging routing and handlingincluding oddâsize luggageand interpret IATA tickets and routing labels.
- Load and unload baggage and cargo safely between aircraft terminals carts and designated facilities.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety security and regulatory standards while performing physically demanding tasks.
- Support operational reliability by meeting attendance expectations and performing other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
- Prior Ramp experience required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess and maintain valid US drivers license
- Pass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen FBI background Customs Seal and employment history.
- Ability to proficiently read write and speak English
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must have high school diploma or GED.

Other tasks include digging and shoveling such as snow removal around equipment and office. Employee may also engage in debris removal which involves lifting bending and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70lbs.
