What Drives Success
- Under general supervision manages accounts relationships.
- Creates and manages daily customer quotations.
- Negotiates plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts.
- Responsible for some of the order entry order maintenance and management of the order delivery process.
- Manages weekly bid schedule.
- Prioritizes projects and communicates bid date and time co-coordinating quoting responsibilities and objectives with Commercial Territory Managers.
- Manages quote follow-up process including updating weekly open quote reports updating CRM to reflect quote status and coordination with 3rd party vendors.
- Assists in credit and collection activities.
- Manages the order credit approval process to avoid delays and past due orders.
- Prepares and manages submittals and orders accurately reducing manual overrides and allowances.
- Coordinates and manages quotes and orders in accordance with guidelines for residential districts.
What We Are Looking For
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
Requires strong abilities with building relationships listening persuading negotiating and managing time. - Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing promoting and selling products or services.
- This includes marketing strategy and tactics product demonstration sales techniques and sales control systems.
- Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
- This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Effective at written and verbal communication.
- Requires intermediate industry and product knowledge.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role and employees in this role are not eligible for overtime pay. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography and market as well as the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. The total target compensation range for this role is $61600 to $80850 (90% base salary plus 10% commission assuming attainment at plan) and the role also qualifies for additional business objectives incentives.
