The State of South Carolina is looking for a Database Administrator - Consultant Why is this position open: New Position. The SCDMV is in the process of migrating 300 SQL Server Databases from SQL Server 2019 to SQL Server 2022 in addition to a need for Production Support in the current SQL DBA Team. Max Bill Rate: $95.00/hour Will close to submissions on March 3rd 2026 5:00PM EST. Interview Process: One Round - Virtual (Camera On Teams Meeting) or In Person highly preferred. Duration of the Contract: 12 Months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: Position is Hybrid however remote capability is very limited and the candidate should expect to be onsite five days a week. Remote days are based off of project needs and DMV discretion. Candidate location: Resources must be local to South Carolina. The hiring manager is open to resources local to North Carolina if they will commute to Columbia SC 5 days/week.
