Join Our Team as a Sous Chef!

Are you a passionate and experienced Sous Chef looking for your next exciting challenge We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Sous Chef at Peppina you will exhibit your culinary talents by personally performing tasks while assisting in leading the staff and managing all food-related functions. Your role will be pivotal in continually improving guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance across all areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing all kitchen areas ensuring a consistent high-quality product is produced.
  • Establish and uphold culinary standards and activities to achieve excellence.
  • Maintain high culinary standards and responsibilities ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Mentor and develop kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage all food preparation areas including banquets room service Mary Mary bar and Deco lounge.
  • Oversee support areas such as stewarding and purchasing.

What Were Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef and a Chef trade qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team leading by example.
  • Strong relationships with producers ensuring quality sourced produce.
  • Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • Willingness to take initiative and make sound business decisions.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and a strong customer service focus.
  • Current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices with a growth mindset.
  • Determination and reliability with availability to work late nights and weekends as required.
