The Opportunity
Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef ready for your next exciting challenge We are seeking a dedicated and driven professional to join our dynamic team at Peppina.
As a Senior Sous Chef you will showcase your culinary expertise through hands-on leadership guiding the kitchen team while supporting the overall management of all food-related operations. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing both guest and team experiences ensuring the highest standards of quality consistency and creativity while contributing to strong financial performance across the kitchen.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the oversight of all kitchen operations ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality culinary offerings
- Establish and uphold culinary standards to drive excellence across all areas of the kitchen
- Maintain exceptional food quality and service standards contributing to an elevated guest experience
- Mentor coach and develop the kitchen team fostering a positive and high-performing environment
- Oversee food preparation across all outlets including banquets in-room dining Mary Mary Bar and Deco Lounge
Collaborate with and support stewarding and purchasing functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Profile
- Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef and a Chef trade qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team leading by example.
- Strong relationships with producers ensuring quality sourced produce.
- Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
- Willingness to take initiative and make sound business decisions.
- A genuine passion for cooking and a strong customer service focus.
- Current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices with a growth mindset.
- Determination and reliability with availability to work late nights and weekends as required.
