Job Summary
Join Amplius as a Relief Community Support Worker and help provide vital housing support to our customers in supported accommodation. Youll help people live independently with dignity promoting wellbeing and respecting their individual needs through personalised support plans and established policies.
Salary: Will depend on hours worked pro-rata (FTE up to 27066.08 per year)
Contract: Zero hours
Location: St Neots HRS and/or Wisbech HRS/Peterborough services
Snapshot of your role
- Support customers including those with complex needs to live independently and maintain tenancies.
- Promote dignity choice wellbeing equality and inclusion through personalised support plans.
- Act as a key worker: assess needs create and maintain support plans risk assessments and records.
- Work flexibly as part of a team or alone including evenings weekends and bank holidays.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and external agencies to encourage social interaction and wellbeing.
- Assist customers with practical life skills finances benefits budgeting and accessing services.
- Ensure health safety safeguarding and compliance with Amplius policies while reporting issues and monitoring progress.
What were looking for
- Good literacy and numeracy with clear communication and accurate record-keeping using Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of safeguarding equal opportunities and data protection.
- Empathetic respectful and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Works well independently and in a team with a friendly and reliable approach.
- Strong listening negotiation and problem-solving skills confident in stressful situations.
- Organised with attention to detail and committed to high-quality customer-focused support.
Enhanced DBS clearance including barred list check is required for this role.
