Job Summary

In this newly created position for Scams EDR Program team the Change Communications Adviser will lead the development and delivery of internal communication and change strategies that support program objectives. Youll work closely with the program leadership AFCA communications and subject matter experts to ensure messaging is clear consistent and aligned with AFCAs values. Your communications will help drive awareness build understanding and promote smooth adoption of new processes and ways of working across the organisation.

This position is initially for 12 months.

Typically in this role you will:

  • Develop and implement communication plans that support key program milestones and change activity.
  • Create engaging and accessible content for internal channels including newsletters intranet updates presentations and briefing materials.
  • Partner with Executive sponsors program teams the AFCA Communications team and functional SMEs to ensure messaging is coordinated and aligned.
  • Coordinate with project teams to provide timely accurate updates to staff as the program progresses.
  • Track the effectiveness of communication and change strategies adjusting approaches where needed.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities to build understanding and support for program goals.
  • Identify and manage strategic risks related to change readiness and adoption.
  • Prepare reports presentations and communication materials for governance groups and internal audiences.
  • Ensure all communication aligns with AFCAs tone of voice values and brand guidelines.
  • Undertake additional duties in support of the program as required.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies and change communications for large projects or complex programs.
  • Strong background in change communication and internal communications.
  • Familiarity with change methodologies such as ADKAR or Prosci would be highly regarded but not essential. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
