Job Summary:
Handles routine problems based on readily available facts and past experiences in similar
situations. Typical work tasks include processing established sales and marketing
information reconciling discrepancies in data marketing operations and MIS analytics.
Should have knowledge of marketing and sales processes to understand and interpret
customer needs and align staff and effort to meet those needs. Problem solving and
prioritization skills are beneficial.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Follows a variety of generally defined procedures within functional disciplines such as MIS
analytics database management channel/product marketing e-business/e-marketing etc.
Generally assignments are made up of a series of activities with some short-term projects.
The scope for discretion requires judgment to h andle a variety of activities conditions
processes or operations. Sets own work priorities in cooperation with the
manager/supervisor. Incumbent is expected to offer suggestions for improvement to
methods and processes.
2. Provides guidance or training to co-workers within the same work group on routine
support duties technical requirements protocol policy and procedures.
3. Handles routine problems requiring solutions that are based on assembly and
examination of readily available facts and past experience in similar situations. Most
solutions can be found by determining the best approach from several existing options.
Most complex problem solving may include choosing the appropriate solution from several
options.
4. Influence is indirect and supportive in nature with limited accountability beyond the
position. Working tasks might include:
a. MIS reports for budget planning tracking sales analytics etc
b. Channel database Sales Incentives DSR Activities creating and upkeeping the
same.
