Job Description
As a Security Officer - CRE Visitor Screening in Delray Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will welcome tenants and visitors verify credentials manage guest access and monitor entry points and cameras for security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help reduce unwanted activity and document incidents and service requests with clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials maintaining access logs and/or coordinating with property management on approved access.
- Monitor cameras alarms and access control systems and report unusual activity door-forced events and/or other security-related concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation contacting emergency services when directed and completing required notifications.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property common areas and perimeter documenting observations and reporting hazards maintenance issues and/or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
