Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to join our London this role youll help us build and scale seamless high-performance features that span our entire stack ensuring a world-class experience for our customers partners and riders.

What Youll Be Doing
This role is based in our London office with a hybrid setup typically 3 days in the office.
Heres what your day-to-day might look like:
Drive technical execution by designing building and scaling backend services and frontend components that handle high-traffic workloads (20krpm and above).
Lead architectural improvements and code reviews ensuring the efficiency visibility and operational health of your teams systems.
Partner with cross-functional disciplines (PMs Experience Designers) to plan projects foresee dependencies and mitigate technical risks.
Break down complex problems into deliverable choices influencing the roadmap and technical direction within your team.
Support the growth of others by mentoring colleagues and taking an active role in our engineering hiring process to build high-performing teams.
What Youll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
Significant experience building web-based applications in a modern stack; we use Go Ruby Python and Scala and were looking for someone keen to work across them.
Proven ability to design and operate web architecture at scale specifically with systems handling significant request volumes.
Demonstrated ownership of relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL) and experience with NoSQL backends such as Redis DynamoDB or Elasticsearch.
A commitment to software craft with a pride in writing readable well-designed and thoroughly tested code.
Strong collaborative leadership skills with a track record of guiding implementation choices and supporting the personal growth of teammates.
