In this role you will design build and maintain secure highperformance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and WebFlux ensuring reliability and scalability across complex systems. Youll integrate with external platforms using modern architectural patterns including eventdriven workflows messaging queues and asynchronous communication.

You will take ownership of testing across all layersunit integration and performanceusing tools such as JUnit Mockito and WireMock to ensure quality and resilience. As a key contributor youll lead the full lifecycle of backend services from design and development through CI/CD deployment monitoring and ongoing support.

Alongside handson engineering you will participate in architectural discussions influence best practices and conduct code reviews to uphold engineering standards. Working closely within Agile squads youll help deliver reliable platform capabilities while mentoring and supporting other engineers through pairing and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience in a similar role managing enterprise level project.
• Significant years of backend engineering experience with a deep mastery of Java and Spring Boot
• Strong expertise in REST API design microservices and backend system integration
• Demonstrated ability in building secure maintainable production-grade APIs
• Advanced testing skills using JUnit Mockito WireMock and related frameworks
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines Git workflows and modern DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with AWS (SQS S3 DynamoDB)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems scalability reliability and performance engineering
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and application security standards

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API Gateways such as Apigee
• Familiarity with containerization event-driven systems and reactive programming
• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and the ELK stack
