1. Advanced Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex AV issues related to audio video and control systems
- Handle escalations from L1 technicians and provide timely resolution
- Troubleshoot systems such as projectors LED walls video conferencing setups DSPs and control panels
System Maintenance & Support
- Perform preventive maintenance on AV equipment
- Ensure all AV systems (conference rooms meeting rooms auditoriums etc.) are functioning optimally
- Monitor system health performance and reliability
Configuration & Setup
- Configure AV devices such as switchers codecs amplifiers and control systems (e.g. Crestron Extron AMX)
- Support installation and integration of new AV systems
- Update firmware and software on AV devices as required
Network & Integration Support
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot AV-over-IP systems
- Ensure stable connectivity for video conferencing platforms (e.g. Zoom Microsoft Teams)
- Apply basic networking knowledge such as IP addressing VLANs and routing related to AV systems
User Support & Training
- Provide on-site or remote support to end users during meetings and events
- Train users on the proper operation of AV equipment
- Develop user guides and technical documentation
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain incident reports service logs and resolution records
- Update knowledge base articles and technical documentation
- Document system configurations changes and upgrades
Project Support
- Assist in AV system deployments and upgrades
- Coordinate with vendors and senior technical teams
- Participate in testing validation and commissioning of AV systems
Escalation Handling
- Escalate unresolved or highly complex issues to senior engineers or vendors
- Provide detailed troubleshooting analysis and logs for faster resolution
Requirements
Strong knowledge of AV hardware (projectors microphones DSPs matrix switchers LED displays)
Familiarity with AV control systems (Crestron Extron AMX)
Basic networking knowledge related to AV environments
Experience with video conferencing tools (e.g. Zoom Microsoft Teams)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
