Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Rover Patrol in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to situations with calm clear communication and customer service. At Allied Universal you will work with a caring people-first team that is agile reliable and innovative delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas parking lots drive-through lanes ATMs and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor entrances lobby activity and restricted areas; verify identification and/or authorization for access and direct visitors according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; coordinate with on-site leadership and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
- Complete detailed reports of incidents patrol activity and unusual conditions; communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts per established procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have an armed guard card/license preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have access control/badge experience preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
