Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Mobile Rounds in Leesburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site visitors and government staff by following post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct armed patrols of government buildings grounds and perimeter areas completing regular and random patrols to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Perform entry screening and access control duties including verifying identification managing visitor logs and monitoring checkpoints in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and/or local law enforcement as needed.
- Complete detailed written reports maintain accurate logs and communicate security-related observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
