Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new business opportunities within the APAC maritime sector (Singapore Hong Kong Japan Korea etc.).
- Strategic Sales: Execute the full sales cycle from lead generation and technical presentations to high-stakes contract negotiations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives and IT Managers.
- Technical Consultation: Work closely with our Head of Sales and engineers team to tailor cyber security and SATCOM solutions to specific fleet requirements.
- Regional Representation: Maintain and expand our partners network attend key industry events like Sea Asia and Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) to boost brand visibility.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5 years of proven sales experience specifically within Maritime IT Cyber Security or Satellite Communications.
- Network: An existing Rolodex of contacts within the Singaporean and regional shipping community.
- Technical Literacy: A solid understanding of maritime network architecture IMO 2021 cyber compliance and satellite bandwidth management.
- Culture Fit: Ability to work autonomously in Singapore while maintaining seamless communication with our HQ in Greece (considering the 5-6 hour time difference).
- Education: Bachelors degree in Maritime Studies Information Technology or Business.
