Overview

We are seeking an experiencedEngineering Managerto lead and grow high-performing engineering teams building scalable cloud-native platforms. This role blends strongpeopleleadership with deep technicalexpertise requiring a hands-on leader who can coach engineers drive execution and partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders. You willbe responsible forfostering a healthy inclusiveteam culture while ensuring delivery of reliable high-performance systems including the adoption of modern AI-enabled engineering practices. The ideal candidate brings a builders mindset strategic thinking and a passion for customer-centric engineering excellence in a fast-paced evolving environment.

Location:

  • Bangalore India (Hybrid; 3 days onsite/2 days remote)

WhatYoullDo:

People Leadership & Development

  • Coach and mentor engineers in their career growth and skill development
  • Conduct regular 1:1s performance reviews and feedback sessions
  • Foster a culture of ownership accountability and psychological safety
  • Team Health & Productivity
  • Monitor team morale engagement and workload balance
  • Identifyand address team-level challenges or interpersonal issues
  • Support team autonomy while ensuring accountability for outcomes

Strategic Alignment & Execution

  • Collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to align team goals with business priorities
  • Ensure engineering teams have the resources and support needed to deliver effectively
  • Track progress against goals and help teams stay focused on delivering value


Organizational Enablement

  • Advocate for the engineering teams needs within the broader organization
  • Drive initiatives that improve cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to hiring onboarding and retention strategies

WhatWereLooking For:

  • 10 years of proven experience in using C# Core & Core. Must have hands-on experience building applications in the cloud that handle very highRPS by exploiting parallelism and asynchronous nature of tasks
  • 3 years ofpreviousexperience in a leadership or management role guiding and motivating a team of developers
  • Must have experience in integrating AI tools into Engineering practices
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving strong understanding of software development methodologies design patterns and best practices softwarearchitectureand design DDD OOAD API development in restful web applications Development of libraries and frameworks. Mustpossesspractical understanding of Use cases TDD
  • Experience with performance optimization code review processes and automated testing. Software engineering and experience ofmaintainingthe software deployed in the field
  • Modern dev ops tools & practices monitoring and alerting tools usage tomonitorsolutions deployed in acontainerizedcluster
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and driving continuous improvement in developer experience processestoolsand technologies
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
