About the Role

Were looking for an Product Engineering Lead to lead the technical direction of our systems while managing and growing a 100 members engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of architecture execution and people leadership. Youll define scalable technical solutions guide engineers through complex decisions and ensure teams deliver reliable high-quality software.

This is a hands-on leadership role: youll be involved in system design and key technical decisions while also coaching engineers and owning delivery outcomes.

What Youll Do

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Define and evolve system architecture to support scalability reliability and performance
• Lead design reviews and technical decision-making across teams for product development
• Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions
• Identify and manage technical debt and architectural risks
• Set engineering standards and best practices

People & Delivery Management

• Lead mentor and manage a team of software leads/engineers
• Support career growth through regular feedback coaching and performance management
• Own team planning execution and delivery commitments
• Collaborate with Product Design and stakeholders to align priorities and timelines
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and team effectiveness

Client Interfacing and Management

• Work with clients technical board and drive the program deliverables and approvals
• Drive implementation of client engineering processes

Hands-on Contribution (as needed)

• Contribute to code reviews and critical implementations
• Step in on complex or high-risk technical areas
• Guide debugging and incident response when needed

What Were Looking For

• 15 years of professional software engineering experience
• 5 years in a technical leadership architect or engineering management role
• Strong experience designing and evolving distributed systems
• Proven ability to balance architectural thinking with delivery realities across domains (Automobile Manufacturing etc.)
• Experience managing and mentoring engineers
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Product-minded pragmatic approach to engineering decisions

Nice to Have

• Experience leading multi-team or platform-level architecture
• Experience in Automobile domain programs
• Background in cloud-native systems and infrastructure
• Experience scaling systems or teams in high-growth environments
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or similar delivery models
• Prior hiring and team-building experience
