Position Summary:
As the Director of Business Development youll be at the forefront of cultivating new business relationships and acquiring exciting new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective strategies to drive new revenue and secure new business.
Manage the end to end sales cycles: identify qualify and close sales opportunities
Gain a deep understanding of TransPerfects services benefits and competitive advantages and promote TransPerfect by educating clients about our diverse services
Generate prospective leads and build client relationships through cold calling online research networking events trade shows and direct marketing.
Manage pricing and contractual issues ensuring a thorough understanding of company procedures.
Provide client support and manage client expectations effectively
Coordinate with clients and production teams to quote manage and bill projects daily ensuring smooth and profitable operations.
Communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Experience Required:
4 years of strategic business development experience
Proven track record of success in a high-level B2B sales environment with a complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven capability in managing complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
