Compensation: $55000 base salary per year plus $5000 $10000 in commissions

About the Position

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for managing organizing and enhancing the operations associated with group sales at Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery. This role will oversee relationships with key partners coordinate group visits and ensure smooth daily operations within the scope of these responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills process-driven sales expertise and a passion for customer experiences.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Group Sales & Relationship Development

    • Develop and expand Belle Meades relationships with tourism and hospitality partners in Greater Nashville including hotels vendors transportation companies and other tourism organizations to increase group bookings.

    • Actively solicit bus group sales ensuring a seamless process from booking through visit execution.

    • Serve as the primary on-site contact for bus group arrivals ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.

    • Offer hands-on support for managing large groups addressing special needs and ensuring a positive visit for all guests.

  • Collaboration & Strategic Input

    • Participate in management meetings offering constructive feedback and insights to support the continuous improvement of operations and decision-making.

    • Establish and maintain effective communication with vendors to ensure efficiency and success of on-site operations.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Experience in hospitality management tourism event coordination or sales.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities and time-sensitive tasks.

  • Comfortable working on-site with guests staff and external partners to ensure operational excellence.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Sales or hospitality experience is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications particularly Word and Excel.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to bend squat kneel twist grab and lift.

  • Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery is open daily 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; the work schedule for this position reflects these hours including weekends and some holidays and extended hours when necessary or required
