WHAT YOULL DO
As an Account Executive you will play a pivotal role in drivingSageNetsgrowth by generating high-quality leads cultivating strong client relationships and securing new business is a hunter-focused role responsible exclusively for new logo acquisition within an assigned national efforts will help positionSageNetas a trusted and valued service provider in the market.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Drive netnew revenue by proactivelyidentifying prospecting and closing new accounts; this role does not manage existing customer accounts.
- Developsnew business by analyzing account potential both current customer and newprospects;initiating developing and closing sales.
- Engage and sell to IT leaders and executive decision makers including CIOs and senior technology stakeholdersacross targetvertical markets.
- Identifiespotential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked withcustomer;identifyingand evaluatingadditionalneeds; analyzing opportunities.
- Initiates sales process by buildingrelationships;qualifyingpotential;scheduling appointments.
- Engage withSageNetstrategicpartnersto developnew leads andopportunities.
- Partner with the Demand Generation team to convert qualified leads while independently building and managing a strong self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting networking and industry engagement.
- Re-engage prior customer relationships andleveragean existing network of industry contacts and book of business to accelerate revenue growth.
- Acting as the clients representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improvingthe customerexperience
- Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
- Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results;identifyingneeds to be filled;monitoringcompetitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.
- Maintainaccurateandtimelyopportunity pipeline and activity documentation within Salesforce to ensure forecast visibility and pipeline integrity.
- Updates job knowledge byparticipatingin educational opportunities; reading professional publications;maintainingpersonal networks; participatingin professional organizations.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership foraccomplishingnew and differentrequests;exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Experience & Education
- Bachelors or Mastersdegree with a concentration in business administrationengineeringor technology
- Experienceselling managed services network connectivity or technology solutionsrequired; MSP or telecommunications experiencestronglypreferred.
- Demonstrated success in a hunter-style sales role with a consistenttrack recordof exceeding new business quotas
- 1-3 years sales experience exceeding quotas
- Stable employment history
- Salesforce experience is a plus
- Experience sellingfirewall SD-WAN or network services solutions preferred particularly with OEM partners such asCradlepoint Digi Fortinet Meraki or Cisco
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsââ
- Able to explain basic technical topics in simple terms and think quickly and react to client questionsââ
- Self-motivated personality with the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited directionââ
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint)âââ
- Must be adaptable professional courteousmotivatedand work well on their own or as a member of a teamââ
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
