Position : Utility Operations Analyst
Working Schedule : 9am-5pm EST
Job Summary
The Utility Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring analyzing and optimizing utility operations to ensure efficient cost-effective and reliable service delivery. This role involves data analysis process improvement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support operational goals and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze utility usage data (electricity water gas etc.) to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on utility consumption performance metrics and operational performance.
- Collaborate with operations engineering and maintenance teams to implement efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Support utility billing reconciliation and cost allocation processes.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of utility management strategies and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies tools and processes to improve utility operations.
- Respond to operational issues and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime or service disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of utility usage contracts and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in utility operations or similar roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel data analysis tools and reporting software.
- Knowledge of utility management energy efficiency practices and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
