Role Overview
The Services Operations Developer PMO supports the Five9 GTM-PMO by designing building and scaling automation processes and data-driven workflows that improve efficiency consistency and scalability across GTM-supported teams.
While the role is embedded within the GTM-PMO its impact extends beyond PMO-owned processes to support internal customers across GTM including Professional Services Technical Account Management (TAM) and other customer-facing and operational teams.
This role focuses on leveraging AI-powered IDEs enterprise automation tools and modern development practices to translate workflows operating models and program objectives into durable technical solutions. The role also supports the creation and maintenance of Five9 VCC templates using automation to promote standardization and repeatability. Platform configuration and template work are important enablers but are not the primary focus of day-to-day responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Powered Development & Automation
Design build and maintain automation solutions using automation platforms AI-powered IDEs and enterprise AI tools.
Develop scalable workflows that reduce manual effort and accelerate business processes across GTM teams.
Identify automation opportunities and recommend solutions aligned with GTM-PMO priorities and GTM operational needs.
Apply AI-assisted development and prompt engineering techniques to improve delivery speed and solution quality.
Stay current on emerging AI technologies tools and best practices relevant to enterprise automation.
Program-Aligned Development & Enablement
Translate workflows and operating models from GTM-PMO-led programs/projects and GTM-supported teams into scalable technical solutions.
Provide technical support across multiple initiatives adjusting focus as GTM-PMO and GTM priorities evolve.
Ensure solutions are secure scalable and aligned with enterprise IT and governance standards.
Workflow Automation Enablement
Design build and maintain automations within work management and workflow platforms used across the GTM organization (e.g. tools like BlackChair Symphony and similar systems).
Support processes such as intake tracking handoffs reporting and governance for GTM-PMO and GTM teams.
Partner with GTM-PMO Professional Services TAM and other GTM stakeholders to standardize workflows and automation patterns.
Reduce manual effort by automating status changes notifications approvals and data synchronization where appropriate.
Maintain documentation and usage guidance for workflow automations supporting internal GTM customers.
Five9 VCC Template Enablement
Support the creation update and maintenance of Five9 VCC templates using automation and tooling to improve repeatability and consistency.
Collaborate with GTM-PMO stakeholders to align templates with standardized delivery and operational models.
Streamline template updates to reduce manual configuration effort and improve adoption.
Maintain documentation and usage guidance for GTM-PMO-supported templates.
Platform Integration & Data Workflows
Develop and maintain API-based integrations and structured data workflows supporting GTM-PMO and GTM initiatives.
Support data-driven enablement and knowledge management use cases through automation.
Ensure integrations and workflows are reliable maintainable and aligned with enterprise standards.
Documentation & Collaboration
Provide support to the PMO team to maintain technical documentation deployment guides and usage instructions for GTM-PMO-developed solutions.
Partner closely with PMO PgM/PMs to align technical execution with timelines milestones and governance.
Work with GTM Operations and internal customers to understand workflows and translate them into automation opportunities.
Design solutions with change management in mind minimizing disruption to day-to-day operational routines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical engineering or program support role within SaaS Professional Services or GTM organizations.
Experience designing and implementing automation and workflow solutions in an enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience building automations within work management or workflow platforms used by GTM teams (e.g. tools like BlackChair Symphony or similar systems).
Working knowledge of the Five9 Intelligent CX Platform (VCC) including familiarity with configuration concepts and template-based delivery models.
Proficiency in Python JavaScript/TypeScript Apex (Salesforce-specific) or similar languages.
Experience with AI-assisted IDEs and tools such as GitHub Copilot Cursor or similar platforms.
Proficiency with API integration JSON and structured data workflows; SQL familiarity preferred.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and API-driven architectures.
Working knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD practices for lightweight deployments.
Familiarity with project management practices and structured delivery frameworks.
Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to bridge program intent and technical execution.
Preferred Skills
Building scalable process automation in enterprise environments that integrates with Salesforce Slack and Microsoft applications.
Working with AI-powered IDEs (e.g. Antigravity GitHub Copilot or Replit AI).
Experience collaborating with global teams in a SaaS or enterprise software context.
Knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps practices for deployment and monitoring is a plus.
