Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the complete lifecycle of fund transactions: From initial booking and valuation through to conversion and ultimate realization of investments.
- Execute complex investment deals with a specialty in waterfall structures and instruments like SAFE notes.
- Manage parallel funds and conduct regular rebalancing to keep the portfolio aligned with investment strategy.
- Provide expert guidance on investment strategies portfolio management and trends.
- Understand Venture Capital audit requirements and manage related projects.
- Lead and mentor new team members and colleagues on complex operational and investment topics.
- Collaborate closely with legal finance and investment teams to verify all transaction details and ensure full compliance with fund structures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure flawless transaction accuracy by performing quality checks on all investment documentation and records.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency improve investment processes and implement best practices.
- Address key operational projects such as resolving stale payables and improving document tagging for better data management.
- Lead and participate in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency improving investment processes and implementing best practices.
Requirements
Job Requirements and Credentials:
- Private Equity or Fund Accounting Experience : 0.6 months - 1 year
- Bachelors Degree : Accounting or Financial Management
- Advanced MS Office proficiency
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Keen attention to detail
- Possess a strong work ethic and an avid team player
- Will thrive in a small or big team environment
Required Skills:
Graduate of Accounting or Equivalent (Accounting Technology) Candidate should have between 1-3 years of experience doing bookkeeping functions. Working in the Accounts Payable Department is an advantage. Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting Knowledgeable in spreadsheet computing application and word processing applications Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance policies and procedures QuickBooks experience is a plus Can work independently to conform to tight deadlines Has an excellent English written and oral communication skills Good analytical ability with excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills and outstanding attention to details Must be proactive motivated detail-oriented a team player and be able to implement any Service Level Agreement and metrics as per agreed with the client Must have excellent typing skills Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
