SAP Competence Center – Transformation & Governance Specialist

Overview:

Join our SAP Competence Center as a key contributor in defining standards governance models and accelerating the transformation of the SAP role aims to ensure the adoption of best practices strong business alignment sustainable architectural evolution and a strategic relationship with SAP contributing to the continuous modernization of our SAP landscape.

What will you do

Governance Standards & Best Practices:

• Define maintain and evolve SAP team working guidelines including development best practices Clean Core strategy and extensibility models DevSecOps lifecycle applied to SAP and security compliance and quality requirements;
• Define and operationalize the RISE with SAP governance model in coordination with architecture security and vendors;
• Promote the adoption of SAP standards and frameworks (SAP Activate Best Practices Reference Architectures)

Architecture & Business Alignment

• Work closely with business areas to understand functional and strategic needs;
• Define the most suitable SAP solutions ensuring the right balance between value cost and technical sustainability;
• Support the definition of solution architectures and integrations;
• Ensure alignment of solutions with corporate architecture and security guidelines.

SAP Transformation & Innovation

• Accelerate the transformation of our SAP landscape including S/4HANA and RISE with SAP initiatives;
• Drive customization reduction and application modernization;
• Promote and support the adoption of SAP BTP;
• Assess and promote the use of artificial intelligence in the SAP context (e.g. SAP Business AI Joule side-by-side scenarios);
• Evaluate SAP and partner solutions analyzing maturity technical suitability and business value

Licensing & SAP Relationship Management:

• Support SAP licensing analysis management and optimization in collaboration with relevant internal areas;
• Manage the relationship with SAP ensuring strategic alignment and roadmap follow-up;
• Coordinate with SAP partners;
• Manage and escalate critical topics when necessary.

Collaboration & Enablement:

• Work in alignment with other Competence Centers Architecture and Security teams;
• Contribute to SAP team enablement by promoting standards knowledge sharing and continuous improvement;
• Act as a technical and functional reference within oue SAP ecosystem.

What are we looking for

• SAP S/4HANA and ECC;
• RISE with SAP;
• Clean Core and extensibility strategies;
• SAP BTP and integrations;
• SAP solution architecture principles;
• Solid understanding of security compliance and DevSecOps in SAP environments;
• Experience in evaluating SAP and partner solutions;
• Strong communication and influencing skills with both technical and business stakeholders;
• Strategic thinking with an end-to-end vision;
• Autonomy proactivity and critical thinking;
• Ability to work in complex and multidisciplinary environments;
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement;
• Fluent English (mandatory).

Nice to Have:

• Relevant SAP certifications (S/4HANA BTP Architecture Activate);
• Experience in large organizations or multinational environments;
• Previous experience in SAP Competence Centers or governance roles.
