Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who want hands-on experience in software development and modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing testing and maintaining applications
- Write clean basic code under guidance of senior engineers
- Fix simple bugs and support ongoing projects
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Learn and follow software development best practices
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university (preferably Computer Science major)
- 0-2 years of work experience (This is an entry level position)
- Basic knowledge of programming (Java C# Python or JavaScript)
- Understanding of OOP concepts
- Familiarity with databases (SQL basics preferred)
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Must be authorized to work in Columbia for any employer
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Git or any version control tool
- Exposure to web development or APIs
