Job Summary

  1. Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
  2. Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with MD.
  3. Oversee operations HR and accounting and partner with MD in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets.
  4. Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability.
  5. Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary and prepare detailed updates and forecasts.
  6. Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers clients partners and stakeholders.
  7. Supervising the Dealing Team Equity and Fixed Income Traders.
  8. Oversee sales and distribution of fund-raising mandates/transactions.
  9. Conduct joint calls with team affiliates commercial and corporate branches with emphasis on cross selling to increase wallet share for the company and group.
  10. Ensure that the business complies with internal legal and risk management policies as well as industry regulations.


  1. Masters degree in business administration or any other relevant degree.
  2. Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) certification would be an added advantage.
  3. MUST be a Chartered Stockbroker.
  4. MUST be an Authorized Dealing clerk.
  5. Must be a SEC sponsored individual.
  6. Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles.
  7. Ten (10) years industry experience.
  8. Experienced in Equity and Fixed Income Trading.
  9. Working knowledge of the AFEX Commodities market
  10. Excellent leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  11. Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
  12. Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
