Job Summary

The Zone Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and administration of Zone operations. The role provides leadership oversight ensures regulatory compliance supervises personnel and serves as the primary operational representative of the Zone.

Overall management of Zone operations
Supervision of Zone personnel
Regulatory and customs liaison
Oversight of licensing and compliance functions
Escalation management
Strategic development and investor growth oversight
Policy implementation and enforcement
The Zone Operations Manager serves as the primary operational representative of the Zone

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Law Public Administration Management or a related discipline (Masters degree is an added advantage)
Minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience with demonstrated leadership exposure
Compulsory prior experience working within a Free Trade Zone environment
Strong knowledge of Free Trade Zone regulations licensing frameworks customs procedures and compliance requirements
Proven experience liaising with regulatory authorities customs and government agencies
Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage cross-functional operations
Strong understanding of policy implementation and operational governance
Excellent strategic planning stakeholder management and escalation handling capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity professionalism and decision-making ability
