Make a Difference! Join our dynamic team as we expand our reach and deepen our impact within the community. We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented individual to join us as a Program Faciltiator (Visual Arts) based out of our Yeronga site.
This is a dynamic role where you will be providing a range of individual and group-based supports to Access Arts participants that encourage individual participation in program leading to increased capacity to reach artistic goals and aspirations including economic participation.
This role is a permanent part-time role working approximately 45 hours per fortnight working Monday Tuesday & Wednesday.
What would I be doing each day
- Lead and assist in delivering artistic and creative workshops that reflect participants goals interests and aspirations.
- Facilitate participant intake in coordination with NDIS facilitators ensuring accurate and up-to-date participant information risk assessments and alignment with individual support needs.
- Support participants to achieve a valued lifestyle and meaningful engagement within the community through inclusive high-quality arts programs.
- Ensure workshops and programs are well-resourced and delivered safely in collaboration with the Manager.
- Act as the primary contact for participants and staff on day-to-day operational matters as directed by the Manager.
- Coordinate and match staff to participants based on individual needs skills and program requirements.
- Facilitate opportunities for participants to develop artistic and creative skills within supported and inclusive environment.
- Engage with community organisations and partners to increase opportunities for collaboration and participation.
- Provide regular updates reports and communication to management as required.
- Offer guidance training and supervision to staff volunteers and participants to maintain high-quality program delivery.
- Lead team meetings contributing to positive communication collaboration and problem-solving.
What would I need to be considered
- Minimum three years experience in arts coordination or program management
- Proven ability to deliver arts programs on time and within budget.
- Strong administrative project management and organisational skills.
- Experience in supervising and managing staff.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and independently to deliver results.
- Current C class drivers licence with regular access to a vehicle.
- A current First Aid & CPR certificate.
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check & A Working with Children Check (we can help!)
