Job Summary

As the Director- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program you will lead a landmark multi-year enterprise-wide transformation that will shape Griffiths digital operational and cultural future for decades to come.

Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer you will provide strategic direction governance leadership and delivery oversight for Griffiths ERP modernisation program. You will work in close partnership with executive and academic leaders to drive alignment ensure disciplined delivery and embed sustainable transformation outcomes.

Heres how youll make it matter:

  • Set and steward the strategic direction roadmap and delivery approach for Griffiths ERP transformation across Finance HR Payroll and Student systems.
  • Lead enterprise governance executive engagement and decision-making to ensure alignment transparency and disciplined prioritisation across the program.
  • Oversee end-to-end program delivery including risk budget assurance business continuity and high-value vendor and system integrator partnerships.
  • Drive University-wide business transformation redesigning end-to-end processes and operating models to reduce complexity eliminate technical debt and embed lean and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen Griffiths data maturity governance and reporting capability to enable evidence-based decision making and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead organisational change capability uplift and sustained user adoption ensuring the transformation delivers measurable value and long-term benefits.
  • Establish robust benefits realisation frameworks and performance metrics to demonstrate impact across efficiency compliance user experience and service delivery.
  • Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary program team and foster a culture of collaboration accountability and innovation.

About you
What matters most is your ability to lead complex transformation that delivers enduring value.

Through Griffiths principles of excellence ethics and engagement you bring the credibility judgement and leadership presence required to guide an enterprise-wide program of significant scale and complexity.

You will also have:

  • Extensive senior executive experience delivering large-scale ERP or enterprise digital transformation programs in complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated expertise with major ERP platforms such as Oracle SAP Workday or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Deep expertise in program governance enterprise architecture integration data and change leadership.
  • Proven success managing large system integrators vendors and complex delivery ecosystems.
  • Exceptional executive and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at the highest levels.
  • Strong understanding of business continuity risk and assurance in large-scale transformation environments.
  • Postgraduate qualifications and higher education sector experience (highly regarded).

What we can offer
This is a 5 year fixed term full time position primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The salary will be negotiated at a competitive level comparable with the scale and significance of the role plus 17 percent superannuation.
