HF Sinclair Midstream located in Artesia NM is seeking a Supervisor OT Operations. This position cversees the operation administration and security of the SCADA systems used in pipeline terminal and control room environments. Ensures the integrity availability and reliability of SCADA systems and networks implements cybersecurity policies and manages OT site operations.
Job Duties
(functions considered essential as defined by ADA)
- Supervises the development implementation and maintaining of cybersecurity policies and procedures and the operation and maintenance of OT systems and devices.
- Ensures network performance security and reliability across all SCADA systems (Pipeline Terminal Control Room)
- Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements including TSA directives.
- Oversees the installation and configuration of SCADA software and applications.
- Ensures that all changes are documented reviewed and approved according to established procedures.
- Collaborates with vendors and service providers to ensure the reliability and security of OT systems.
- Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as NERC CIP ISA/IEC 62443 and TSA regulations.
- Researches and integrates innovative security technologies to enhance OT network defenses.
- Assists with implementation and management of security controls specific to OT environments including network segmentation and access control.
- Conducts regular security assessments of OT systems to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Develops and enforces OT-specific security policies and procedures to protect critical infrastructure.
- Conducts risk assessments for proposed changes and develop mitigation plans.
- Manages the creation assignment and tracking of work orders for OT system maintenance and repairs.
- Implements and oversees the MOC process for all changes to SCADA systems and infrastructure.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of job-related experience is required.
Education Level
A minimum of an associate degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or related field or the equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
A bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or related field is preferred.
Required Skills
Intermediate knowledge of applications systems and ability to apply this knowledge. Intermediate working knowledge of information systems concepts/design/development systems development life cycle recovery techniques performance monitoring and tuning; decision-making analytical and problem-solving skills. Conceptual and data analysis skills advanced reading skills the ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations intermediate reading and writing skills and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others both written and verbal communication. Ability to lead to lead projects as required.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Strong understanding of networking principles including IP networking network segmentation and industrial network -depth knowledge of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems including configuration maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience in supervising and leading technical teams including task assignment performance evaluation and team development.
Certifications: Microsoft Juniper FortiNet and Cisco certifications (MCDST MCSA MCSE MCP); Network and software certifications (A N NET) are preferred.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
Supervises the work of seven professionals and at times supervisors the work of external contractors. Provides work leadership and direction for project team for duration of assignment.
Work Conditions
Office based with up to 20% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery and driver-based environment including but not limited to chemical pressure vessels tanks rotating equipment and exposure to risk of electrical shock. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions. Occasionally required to work long hours which may include nights weekends holidays for regularly scheduled maintenance and emergency work and support as well as on-call availability.
