Roles & Responsibilities:
Pricing & Market Analysis
- Develop pricing proposals for new and existing customers by evaluating lanes capacity market conditions and competitive dynamics
- Maintain and analyze historical pricing data to evaluate pricing effectiveness and support future strategy
- Partner with Sales and Operations to ensure pricing aligns with operational capabilities and company objectives
- Coordinate and track customers request for bids and ensure they are submitted in a timely manner
- Ensure approved pricing is accurately and timely set up in the Companys TMS
- Maintain executed contracts and supporting documentation of rate agreements
Reporting & Analytics
- Provide periodic and ad hoc reporting and analysis to Sales Operations and Finance leadership
- Support customer-facing analyses and reporting as needed
CrossâFunctional Support & Projects
- Serve as a key liaison between departments for pricingârelated inquiries and issue resolution
- Participate in or lead special projects including process system and reporting improvements
- Support the integration of B2B invoicing
Position Requirements:
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience
- Self-motivated person who can work autonomously
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication interpersonal and multi-tasking skills in a time-sensitive work environment working with diverse groups of individuals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office with a strong focus on Excel and manipulating cube-based data
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Transportation industry is a plus
