MalaceHR is seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee facility maintenance operations. This position is responsible for managing daily maintenance activities supervising staff overseeing budgets ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining a safe efficient and well-functioning environment. The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership strategic planning and operational oversight to support overall facility performance.
Schedule
Full-time; Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM at a minimum. Additional scheduling details will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all maintenance operations including preventative corrective and emergency repairs
Supervise train and develop maintenance staff to ensure high performance and accountability
Establish and manage work schedules to ensure proper coverage and timely completion of tasks
Develop manage and monitor departmental budgets including labor materials and capital expenditures
Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards
Monitor and evaluate team performance; provide coaching recognition and corrective action as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and applicable regulations
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs
Manage work order systems and ensure accurate documentation and reporting
Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook and related applications) for reporting budgeting scheduling and communication
Prepare operational financial and performance reports for senior management
Coordinate with leadership and stakeholders regarding facility needs projects and operational updates
Maintain inventory of tools equipment and supplies
Promote a culture of safety teamwork accountability and continuous improvement
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Prior maintenance management experience required
Strong leadership and supervisory experience
Experience managing budgets and controlling operational expenses
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) required
Knowledge of mechanical electrical plumbing and general building systems
Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience with work order management systems preferred
