Job Summary

Our Fremont OH-based client is strengthening their maintenance department and seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep operations running efficiently and safely.

Shift - 2nd/3rd shift

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of production machinery and facility equipment
Diagnose and repair issues related to hydraulic pneumatic electrical HVAC and mechanical systems
Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) activities on production and auxiliary equipment in a timely manner
Maintain accurate equipment logs and properly document maintenance activities while on duty
Identify maintenance concerns and proactively assist in resolving equipment or process issues
Install move and adjust motors fixtures and other electrical or mechanical components as needed
Perform problem analysis and implement effective repair solutions to reduce equipment downtime
Utilize welding and basic fabrication skills to complete repairs and modifications when required
Follow all company safety policies and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required with strong mechanical aptitude
3 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical role
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical hydraulic pneumatic and compressed air systems
Working knowledge of Ladder Logic and PLC troubleshooting required
Familiarity with machine shop equipment strong mechanical skills and understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Ability to read and interpret electrical hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as well as blueprints
Solid understanding of industrial electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
