Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Payroll Project Manager (Contractor)
Location: Doral FL
Position Type: Temporary / Contract

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Project Manager Contractor with proven experience in Dayforce/Lawson payroll implementation optimization and payroll process management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead complex payroll projects collaborate with cross-functional teams and confidently engage with executive leadership to drive decision-making and ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end payroll project planning execution and delivery across multiple projects ensuring compliance with federal state international and local regulations.
Manage system implementations upgrades and integrations including requirements gathering configuration testing and go-live support.
Partner with HR Finance and IT teams to streamline payroll processes and improve operational efficiency.
Serve as the primary liaison between payroll operations IT vendors and executive leadership providing clear project updates risk assessments and strategic recommendations.
Develop and maintain project documentation timelines and status reports.
Oversee payroll data integrity audits and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Train and mentor payroll staff on system functionality and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business HR Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of payroll project management experience with at least 3 years working directly with Dayforce/Lawson payroll systems.
Demonstrated success in managing payroll system implementations or large-scale process improvements.
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present complex payroll and system concepts to senior leadership.
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations compliance requirements and reporting standards.
Exceptional organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
PMP or similar project management certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

$85.00/hour paid weekly on Fridays.
