Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Selenium Automation Engineer (Java TestNG CI/CD 12 Years)

Location: Austin TX (Hybrid - Local candidates Only) (Within 50-mile radius).

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities Systems Analysis

Analyze current operational workflows and system functionality
Identify improvement opportunities and automation solutions
Prepare detailed functional and technical documentation
Perform feasibility assessments within existing system constraints

Automation & Quality Engineering

Design develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
Build and enhance automation frameworks (Data-Driven Hybrid or BDD)
Perform functional regression integration and system testing
Develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases from business requirements
Conduct API testing (manual and automated)
Perform defect tracking root cause analysis and impact assessment
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines
Produce quality metrics reporting and test coverage analysis
Independently own testing for features/modules

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

Work closely with developers product owners architects and stakeholders
Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and retrospectives
Contribute to test planning regression strategies and risk-based testing approaches

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates must meet or exceed the following qualifications:

Extensive experience in Quality Assurance and software testing
Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver and automation tools
Automation scripting using Java (preferred) or C# / Python
Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
Strong understanding of core functional testing principles
Experience with:
- TestNG / JUnit / NUnit
- Maven / Gradle
- Git
Integration of automation suites with CI/CD tools such as:
- Jenkins
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub Actions
API testing using tools such as Postman RestAssured or similar
Strong SQL skills for backend data validation
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong understanding of:
- Test planning and strategy
- Test case design techniques (boundary value analysis equivalence partitioning)
- Regression strategy
- Risk-based testing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
Experience with Selenium Grid and parallel test execution
Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure or AWS environments)
Performance testing experience using tools such as JMeter
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker)
Exposure to DevOps practices and shift-left testing
Experience testing microservices-based architectures
Basic knowledge of security testing principles
