You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality scalable and secure solutions.

As the online consumer banking business of Goldman Sachs Marcus operates as a digital bank providing high-yield savings accounts and Certificates of Deposit (CDs) directly to individual consumers. Marcus combines Goldman Sachs 150+ years of expertise with intuitive digital experiences focusing on value transparency and simplicity for its millions of customers and is recognized as the largest pure online bank delivering a fully digital experience without physical branches
Key Responsibilities
Back-End Development:
- Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot etc.
- Implement business logic database interactions and integrations with third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
Front-End Development:
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular React or ).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Database Management:
- Design and manage relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
- Write efficient queries and optimize database performance.
DevOps and Deployment:
- Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications in cloud environments
Testing and Debugging:
- Write unit integration and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
- Debug and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
