About the opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Team Leader to support learning and teaching in the academic programs within Health as part of the Learning and Innovation - Health Team.

The Lead Learning Technologist will lead a group of professional staff supporting the creation management and delivery of online and blended-delivery this people-focused role they will provide specific advice about online content and best practices. The role will also involve providing formal and informal staff training to academic and professional staff across the physical and virtual campuses.

What youll do:

  • Lead a team of Learning Technologists to support capacity building in effective use of learning technologies across the Health academic programs
  • Provide specialist advice and support to academic and teaching staff on teaching learning and assessment with a focus on digital learning and technology-enhanced learning.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge in the use of new and existing learning technologies and provide advice support and training for academic staff.
  • Deliver work to a high-quality standard and encourage opportunities for collaboration with other support teams within Health.
  • Identify opportunities to refine processes to improve the efficiency within Health and in collaboration with Learning Technologist Teams in the Academic Division.

What were looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams mentoring and training teams for best practice outcomes and managing performance of staff.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Extensive experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) Video Management Systems (VMS) and Educational Technologies.
  • Experience in supporting and advising diverse learning cohorts with a range of technical understanding who are seeking to use innovative online solutions tailored to their particular context.
  • Adept in keeping up to date with current learning technologies and producing succinct guides and training for staff as required.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $130943 comprising base salary within the range of $101821 to $111917 plus 17% superannuation.
