Zanesville OH 43701)Pay Rate:$15.00(40 hours per week varied schedule) Closing Date: February 272026 Job Responsibilities: Under general supervision the Customer Service Assistant will provide excellent customer service to our patrons shelve books and other library materials and maintain orderliness of library stacks. They will perform general customer service functions and may need to make supervisor-level decisions in the absence of the Customer Service Specialist. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; availability to work evenings and weekends. Knowledge skills and abilities: Skill in providing high-quality customer service Ability to learn library policies and procedures; ability to alphabetize file and perform basic clerical tasks Ability to communicate effectively; ability to work unsupervised Skill in use of electronic devices such as computers phones tablets and eReaders
