Were looking for a detail-driven commercially aware Data Steward to play a key role in ensuring trusted high-quality data across enterprise platforms within a Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB/BFSI) environment.
Requirements
What Youll Be Doing
Own and drive data quality standards across critical datasets
Define monitor and enforce data governance and stewardship practices
Perform data validation reconciliation and analysis using strong SQL skills
Partner with business risk finance and technology stakeholders to resolve data issues
Support enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms
Produce clear documentation controls and audit-ready artefacts
Contribute to regulatory and risk-driven data initiatives
Benefits
What Were Looking For (Must-Have)
510 years experience in Data Stewardship Data Governance or Data Management
Strong understanding of data quality dimensions (accuracy completeness consistency timeliness)
Proven experience in Investment Banking / CIB / BFSI environments
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reconciliation
Experience working with enterprise data warehouses
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across business and IT
Strong documentation control and governance mindset
Nice to Have (Advantageous)
Exposure to risk finance trading or regulatory datasets
Experience with Power BI or analytics consumption layers
Familiarity with data governance tools metadata management or MDM platforms
Knowledge of SARB regulatory expectations or similar regulatory frameworks
Experience working on Azure or cloud-based data platforms
