The IT Business Manager (ITBM) owns assigned scope below business/zone/function level and engages with operationally accountable business stakeholders equipped with an end-to-end (E2E) understanding of relevant IT enabled processes to optimize their speed impact and experience for business & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage with business/region/function stakeholders below MT on more tactical topics
Coach & assist stakeholders in articulating problems crafting business cases and submission of budget approvals
Apply quality in requirements evaluation their underpinning value and priority setting
Collaborate across the IT and business community with relevant experts
Explore qualified needs with global process owning roles & architects for suitable solutions or roadmap definition
Manage assigned projects in quality time and budget incl active participation in steering committees and managing business readiness and identified risks
Contribute to and oversee assigned projects for success incl fit gap UAT aftercare
Follow up and track committed value creation by IT initiatives with stakeholders and communicate achievements
Foster adoption adherence and continuous improvement in execution with provided IT systems trigger business change management and key user identification Secure compliance matters in IT initiatives such as business / privacy impact assessment & security
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Stakeholder satisfaction & regular touchpoints with the business stakeholders
Business case quality (measured by change request post acceptance)
Value realization (embedding and holding business accountable for uptake)
Project and change requests performance (measure by delivery budget and quality)
Quality of compliances status (measured by audit findings)
E2E Process Harmonization (measure by application convergence and common tool usage)
Resolution of business pain points and major escalations
REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Strong knowledge of IT and E2E business processes functional domain technologies and business acumen
Stakeholder management
Change and project management skills
Strong communication skills
Lean leadership: ability to lead daily management problem solving and value stream mapping and improvements
Communicate complex technical challenges in a simplified manner
Competence in IT processes (DevSecOps Agile etc.)
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
