Job Description
I have a client located in the Meridian MS area with an opportunity for a Construction Administrative Assistant. This is a full time in office contract to possible permanent opportunity. This position is performed on site Mondays from 6:00 to 3:00 pm Tuesday-Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with flex hours on Sunday from 2 to 4 hours.
In this role you will be providing administrative and payroll support for a large electrical construction company. This position will focus on supporting bi weekly payroll department - data entry assisting with ticketing expenses updating employee records. Additional duties include general office support / supplies. etc.
The position is onsite
Starts immediately / 3 months contract but can be extended long term.
Pay: $22-24/HR
Requirements
Ability to work schedule - Monday 6:00 am - 3: pm; Tuesday through Friday - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Sundays - 2-4 hours or can be worked during the week with approval.
- Prior administrative experience in construction is preferred
- Payroll experience is preferred but can be trained if needed
- MS Excel Word and Visio are required
- Experience with construction engineering or field site environment are preferred
